Tenner’s Cassia is a perennial shrub, which grows up to 60 cms in height. It is an excellent remedy to lower blood sugar in diabetic patient. The whole plant has medicinal properties.
Make whole plant or buds decoction and take daily for treating diabetes. Make powder of this herb and store in a jar. Take the powder and mix in honey in equal quantity and take daily early morning on empty stomach. Its seeds and flowers can be used in a similar manner.
Margosa for Diabetes
In India this tree is common it plays a vital role in agriculture and Ayurvedic medicine since the time of immemorial. It prevents cholera and malaria fever and considered to be an air purifier.
All parts of this tree have medicinal properties in it. This tree leaves are beneficial in the treatment of different ailments and diabetes as it possesses anti-diabetic properties.

One more method to control diabetes through Margosa is dry tender leaves in shade, make powder and preserve in a jar or bottle. Take this powder one gram daily for three months with water.
Isabghula for Diabetes
The Isabghula also called as sponge seeds. It is small herb which is stemless and covered with a dense with soft hairy growth. This seed has medicinal properties chiefly arise from a large amount of mucilage and albuminous matter present in them.
This herb is an anti-diabetic food which beneficial in treating diabetes. It inhibits excessive sugar absorption from the intestine which helps to control blood sugar in diabetic patient.
Isabghula can be taken in the form of seeds or husk, which is plants dry seed-coat which is obtained by crushing the seeds and winnowing to separate the husk. Seeds and husk have the same properties. Husk is easy to get digest than whole seeds without any pre-soaking. Take it daily one spoon by mixing in one glass of water.
