Papaya is a source of vitamin A, Vitamin b, Vitamin C and fiber. Papaya also contains vitamin B1, Vitamin B2 and niacin. Loss of vitamin C may result in loss of total capacity of body to fight against diseases. Which leads to delayed healing of wounds and cells becomes weak. Papaya contains good amount of potassium which is necessary for our body. Potassium deficiency leads to heart problem, weak memory and irritated behaviour.

Medicinal Qualities in Papaya

  1. Ripe papaya is delicious, warm, oily and anti-bilious. Virility increases by papaya. Beneficial to heart and liver. Papaya is useful to get rid of constipation, kidney disorders, asthma and urinary disorders.
  2. Unripe papaya is green in color which is useful in expelling round worms from the digestive tract. It is beneficial to secure menstrual flow and abdominal disorders.
  3. Avoid papaya in fever and pregnancy as it causes heat in the body.
  4. Papaya is good medicine for dysentery, dyspepsia, hyper acidity and constipation. It is useful in anaemia and splenomegaly. Papaya contains enzymes arginine which is good for male fertility, car-pain good for heart and fibrin necessary for blood –coagulation.
