Minced Mutton curry and Tomato Rice


Dear Readers, Today I will teach how to cook Minced Mutton curry and Tomato Rice with Peas. Wow with cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and coriander leaves flavor. Are you ready with ingredients? Let’s start. Yummy minced mutton curry. Try this, It’s so delicious.

Ingredients for Minced Mutton

Minced Mutton                       500gm

Onions                                     100gm

Green chilies                          6 or 7

Ginger  paste                         1tbsp

Garlic paste                           1tbsp

Tomatoes                               50 gm

Red chili powder                  1tbsp

Eggs                                        3 or 4

Cinnamon                              1″ piece

Cardamom                            3 or 4

Cloves                                   4 or 5

Bay leaf                                 2 or 3

Turmeric                              1tbsp

Coriander leaves                 1bunch

Green peas                           100 gm

Oil                                         50 gm

Salt                                       For taste

Method for Minced Mutton

Wash mutton three times with fresh water little salt and turmeric adding to it. Chop onions and tomatoes .Cut green chilies. Cut coriander leaves, wash and keep aside. Boil eggs and clean it.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cinnamon, cloves and cardamom then add chopped onion and green chilies. Fry till light brown. Add garlic, ginger paste and fry for some time.

Add all ingredients except eggs, Peas and coriander leaves. Cook on low heat till the minced mutton tender. Make 4 curves in each egg with a knife. Add  peas coriander leaves and hard boiled eggs. Minced mutton curry is ready to serve.

Ingredients for Tomato Rice

Basmati Rice                                 250 gm

Onions                                           2 piece

Green chilies                                 4 or 5

Tomatoes                                      4 piece

Cumin seeds                                 1 tbsp

Mustard seeds                              Half spoon

Red chilies                                    2 or 3

Turmeric                                       Half spoon

Curry leaves                                 1 spring

Almonds or Ground nuts           50 gm

Coriander leaves                          Half bunch

Mint leaves                                   Half bunch

Oil                                                   100gm or 50 gm

Salt                                                 For taste

Lime Juice                                    1tbsp

Water                      1: 3 fourth (1 glass rice 3 fourth glass of water)

Method for Tomato Rice

Heat oil in a pan on low fire. Cut red chilies and add. Then add cumin and mustard seeds. Add curry leaves to it don’t let burn, it should be light brown like seasoning. After a while add onion green chilies fry for sometime and add all other ingredients except rice.

Fry for sometime add rice and fry for 5 minutes. Meanwhile boil water in another pan. Add this boil water to fried ingredients with rice. Close with lid and cook on low heat. Tomato rice ready to serve. Serve with minced mutton curry.
